| This plugin enables users to encrypt/decrypt messages sent or received to/from there contacts, making sniffers and other packet-filtering tools useless! The plug-in uses a strong 128 bit encryption method, with an user-defined key. The commands are: /crypt <text to encrypt> - This enabled the encryption of text send to a contact. /cryptpassword <password> - This changes the password to <password> /autocrypt ON or OFF - This enables or disables autocrypt. This function can be used to encrypt ALL sending text messages. Decryption is automatically done with the user-defined key, so there is no command for that. Also, when sending an encrypted message to someone, the cleartext version appears on the chat window. It is automatically decrypted in you own chat window while the encrypted version is send to the other user! How to use this script: - Make sure you have Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live installed. - Download the script, open it, accept the warning and press Import. - Open a conversation window. - Type "/cryptpassword XXXX" (without the quotes, and replace XXXX with the password you like). - Make sure your contact has this script too and configures the same password (key). - Use either the either the /crypt or /autocrypt command to send encrypted messages. |
