| This script will remember your last used Messenger status and sets the default signin status accordingly. Because of the nature of this script, it doesn't need to store anything as it uses the already existing registry setting of Windows Live Messenger itself to set the default signin status. A list of the possible registry values and what they stand for is included in the script as a comment. Enable or disable this script in the script preferences panel of Messenger Plus! Live. The benefits of this over any other method are: - No need for storing the status somewhere externally - Default signin status will be set before you even sign in, not after signing in - Default signin status will be user specific already - Default signin status will always reflect your last used status - The status will even have been stored if your messenger crashes - Extremely simple and short script What this script does not do is restoring a personalized status as there is no way in retrieving _all_ the settings of a temporary set personalized status. How to use this script: - Make sure you have Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live installed. - Download the script, open it, read and accept the warning and press Import. - Your status will now be remembered after you've singed out. |
