| A pointless script to convert text into Morse code... and vice versa. Usage: To turn on/off Text-to-Morse conversion type: /morse To convert just one message to Morse type: /morse [message] e.g. "/morse Hello my name is Nathan" => "···· · ·-·· ·-·· --- / -- -·-- / -· ·- -- · / ·· ··· / -· ·- - ···· ·- -· " To turn on/off Morse-to-Text conversion type: /demorse To convert just one message to text type: /demorse [message] e.g. "/demorse ···· · ·-·· ·-·· --- / -- -·-- / -· ·- -- · / ·· ··· / -· ·- - ···· ·- -·" => "hello my name is nathan" Version 1.2 - added variables to allow change from dot = ·, dash = -, and word separator = / (allows compatibility with online converters if anyone wants to check it :-) Version 1.1 - added morse to text conversion, also testing additional non-English characters If any bugs are found - nburles(AT)gmail(DOT)com. |
